Who are we?

We are the Sanitation and Water Entrepreneurship Pact or SWEP, a coalition of diverse not-for-profit participant organisations & initiatives. Together, we run this information and education portal. Our legal representative is cewas (see contact details below).

We do that to

  • provide, maintain, monitor usage of and improve this website;
  • tailor the information contained therein as well as in our newsletters to your needs and
  • detect, prevent and address technical and security issues.

What data do we collect?

While using our website, we may ask you to provide us with your first and last name and email address, namely to contact you with newsletters.

We may also collect information on how you use this website and the newsletters. How do we process your data?

To process and use your data, we use the services of the third-party companies Google Analytics and Mailchimp.

What do we commit to with respect to the data that you trust us with?

We are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our website visitors.

We do not collect, sell, rent or trade email lists or any data with other organisations, companies and businesses.

We make every effort to be in line with the GDPR and with the data protection regulations of Switzerland. This includes taking technical and organisational measures to ensure that your personal data provided through this website is protected. Note that we cannot guarantee absolute protection, as internet-based data transmissions generally may have security gaps.

We may disclose your personal information only when required by law.
